" Sensuality and Spirit Between Harmony and Conflict"
This piece was created through a playful process, using ordinary
photographic film, stabilized with resin and covered with golden foil. I
wanted to make the work mysterious and untraceable. It is not clear where
the "horns" come from nor whether they have roots somewhere. The use of
gold, usually considered a carrier of divine light, contrasts with the
organic expressive nature of the sculptured forms. There is a conflict
between spirituality and sensuality, the metaphysical and the material,
which serenade into one another. Part of their sensuality comes from their
pointed peaks, while their flexible and snake-like curves are a delightful
sight. The idea that they are abstract makes them more ambiguous and
mysterious.
